French Mahogany Louis XVI Kidney Shaped Writing Desk

This is a French designed Louis XVI style kidney shaped writing desk. It is made of mahogany. It has beautiful ornate carvings throughout the piece as well as long and curvy French cabriolet legs. Once you open up the single drawer with the solid brass hardware, you'll notice the ample storage space that is available. A convenient smaller drawer is located at the top of the piece for pencils, pens, etc. The brass edging around the perimeter of the piece is not only elegant but useful as well to keep your papers and such from falling off. It is a lovely little piece fit for a bedroom, parlor room, den, or living room.
