Magnificant French MARTI Art Deco mantle clock with lion/lioness and two matching side pieces from the early 1920's Proud bronze lioness atop this wonderful clock made of beautifully contrasting colored marble Chromed frame - facetted glass - enamel face and numerals are in perfect condition French clockworks of highest quality with 8-days movement and are marked with the 1900's gold medal "MEDAILLE D'OR F. MARTI PARIS 1900" (please see picture) The impressive clock itself measures 14.8"(37.5cm) wide x 4.3"(11cm) deep x 6.9"(17.5cm) tall or 12.2"(31cm) total height including the lioness The chrome lioness measures 7.9"(20cm) long x 3.5"(9cm) deep x 5.3"(13cm) hoch The decorative side pieces have a marble base - solid copper bowl and in addition a fine removable copper bowl Each side piece measures 5.9"(15cm) x 5.9"(15cm) x 6.3"(16cm) high weight ca. 2.8kg The clockworks are newly restored to perfect working order - The clock comes with its winding key Condition is EXCELLENT for a piece from this period - slight signs of normal wear, no damages neither to the marble, nore to the bronze, glass, chrome or copper Enjoy bidding on this outstanding clock and please see my other auctions for more fine European antiques and decorative items unwrapped weight is about 16kg!
