GORGEOUS Antique FRENCH Napoleonic Style Gilt Bronze and Mahogany Box! SOLID Mahongany, NOT VENEER. The color in the wood is MAGNIFICENT, the pics done do it justice. I first thought this was for Snuff, but it has a worn velvet like bottom inside, which I have never seen with Snuffs. Probably used to hold small precious objects. The Wreaths in the decoration is very reminiscent of the Napoleonic era and its decorative styles. Size: approx 2 wide , 4 inches long, and 1 1/2 inches tall. Condition: very good overall. No cracks.
