This China Cabinet was made in France circa 1930 . We purchased it in Paris, France . The China Cabinet is made of Oak. It has a rich, Deep Oak Patina. This is a French Renaissance China Cabinet. It is in very good condition. The China Cabinet has a beautifully carved Rococo Shell Cornice flanked by Scroll Work. The Cornice is richly carved and moulded. T are Two gorgeous Glazed Doors at the top of the China Cabinet. They are embellished with a beautiful Mahogany Trim which flows across them Diagonally to create a Diamond Pattern. W the Trim meets the Frames of the Doors are quite pronounced life like carved Flowers. These are connected to geometric blocks with a Diamond Pattern carved across them. W the lines meet are delicate, tiny carved Flowers. The Doors open to reveal a gorgeous interior with a Mirrored Back. T are Two Glass Shelves for displaying your Collection of Fine China. They will reflect beautifully in the mirrored back of the interior. The Base of the China Cabinet has Two Solid Mahogany Doors. These Doors are spectacular. They have Deeply Pronounced Carved Center Panels. The Moulding framing the Center Panel is Concave and Carved with flamboyant Acanthus Leaf Scrolls. The Raised Center Panels have Acanthus Leaf Scrolls framing the Center which is carved with a Diamond Pattern. W the lines intersect are tiny, finely carved Flowers. The Doors open to reveal a Storage Compartment with a Shelf running across the center. This is the perfect place to store your additional pieces of Fine China. The Fixed Panel between the Doors is also carved in the Diamond and Floral Pattern. The China Cabinet is raised upon spectacular Chippendale Legs with Ball and Claw Feet. The Legs are embellished at the Knee with a Carved Rococo Shell. The Feet are finely detailed from the carved Fur at the Top to the Toe Nails. The China Cabinet retains all its original hardware including the Ornate Hinges, Scrolling Key Plates, Lock, and Skeleton Key. This is a superb Display Cabinet. In France it is referred to as a Renaissance Vitrine. This one is quite spectacular. It will make an elegant statement in any room of your traditionally decorated home.
