This little shell match holder is signed TS for Thomas Sergent. It was made in France by Thomas Sergent during the palissy revival circa 1875- 1895.and is in good condition. Some have called this a small jardinere. It is 3" tall and 2" across. T is a tiny nick on the rim 1/2" from the handle in the first photo and a half inch repair on the base in the second photo.
