The piece is hallmarked with the French mark "Head of Mercure 1" (sterling 950/1000 silver). and the Coignet's mark under the base. Nicely decorated with rococo motifs. Each part is superbly finished. Certainely a wonderful complement for your tea set... Anyway a real masterpiece in your silver collection. Pretty conditions. Antique silver items iare always a little marked by their age. No important accident only some little marks.
