Offered is a vintage boys series book, Freshman Quarterback, A Chip Hilton Sports Series Story by Clair Bee, NY: Grosset & Dunlap, 1952, NY], 212 pages plus add for Clair Bee books - title is 9 on a list of 14 on page prior to frontis and also 9 of 14 on the back cover, 100100 price code on inside front flap - an early and uncommon reprint, Red or Salmon tweed hardbound with title on spine, tight and clean no markings of any kind brilliant creamy white pages, extremely minor bumps or rubs on corners, with frontispiece drawing. Pictorial dust jacket has rubs at flap hinge edges and spine head and heel and a couple of tiny chips and tears at the top spine edge and also at the top flap folds; t also are very light minor moisture stains on the inside of the DJ flap folds and along the outside edges - as seen - I see one tiny spot on the edge of the inside back cover - very light smell [from the attic w I got these from]. My first teaching and coaching job right out of college in 1975 was at Roscoe Central School, Roscoe, NY, which was a few miles from w Clair Bee lived as an elderly gentelmen.
