Offered for bid is a 2002 Friends of the NRA sponsor sculpture"The Patriot" by renowned artist Rick Terry. This is a limited addition piece, numbered 4166. "The Patriot" is the first in a series of 5 sculptures that were offered by the Friends of the NRA to their sponsors. These sculptures honor the pioneers of American history and their firearms. "The Patriot" portrays the well-armed citizen militia protecting the Liberty Tree, which the enemy has severed, but has been chased from, allowing the roots of a Republic to be established for all time and whose life will forever need protection and nurturing. This piece is about 12.4 " tall . The base is about 4" square and is about 6" at the widest. It does not come with the original box. This sculpture is no longer available.
