Rare Friendship 1774 Fire Toy Model Hand Pumper 1930s Please examine photos closely because they are being used to describe this ebay item and it's condition. Here is a very rare cast iron 1930s Friendship 1774 Fire Toy Model Hand Pumper. This model is very heavy and weighs almost 5-1/2 pounds. It measures a little over 15", and stands 8" tall with pump handles equal. The pumping action works very well, however I expect that the rubber gaskets are from the 1930's and even though it appears, and feels, as if they are working their life is probably very short. There is some paint loss, but overall this item is in very good used condition. At one time this model had cloth covered rubber hose, with brass nozzles, but these are missing. Also, it does not have any makers mark on it, so I am not sure who produced it. It is very well made and quite rare given I have not seen one for sell on eBay the number of times I have checked. This early fire pumper model would make a great addition to any fire fighting collection. If you have more questions about this item please ask. This item is from a smoke free home.
