Thisis a Frima Swarovski beaded Collar made from vintage components. Themajority of my beads and other components are from the 1960s and many are from Miriam HasKells inventory. This is a signed/tagged FRIMA item...Please read all the descriptions for each individual item. Thank You... !
Over the past 5 years, I visited all the vintage jewelry shops in Providence, Rhode Island I had done business with in the late 1960s. From 1966 to 1968 I designed for Anne Jewelry. It was delightful to find many of them still in busy 35 years later. This allowed me to verify all my Miriam Haskell filigrees findings and beads in my inventory.
Many of my items are made from vintage beads, beads acquired from the Miriam Haskell Company in the 1960s and other vintage resources. All of my jewelry is handmade and is called hand work in the jewelry trade. All of my designs are made in limited editions.
I was a designer of Costume Jewelry which appeared in Glamour, Seventeen Magazine and The Hendri Bendels fashion show under my trade name Frima . All my designs are made from the finest European beads. I provided consulting services to many different jewelry houses in the late 1960s including the Miriam Haskell Company w I was worked as a Consultant.
In 1969 I launched Jewelry By Frima.... I designed an entire line of Frima Swarovski beaded Jewelry for the the Henri Bendel Fancy Shows..I was a designer of Costume Jewelry which appeared in Glamour, Seventeen Magazine and Hendri Bendel's.
Effective Sept. 1, 2004, all FRIMA Swarovski Jewelry will be tagged as seen in the photo below. We hope this will assure authenticity & preserve the value of your investment. We provide quality & craftsmanship only available in artist designed handmade jewelry.
