It has been a real pleasure reborning Kyle and seeing him come alive with each and every stepKyle has a very realistic 'mottled' newborn skin, with veining, blue spots and stork bites. His skin has been slightly textured, to give depth and more realism I try my best to take good quality photos and post them large to show up every detail. All of Kyle's photos have been taken inside by patio doors in different lighting conditions, but I have got daylight bulbs in the ceiling lights, so you will see a variation of lighting between the photos I have spent many hours creating Kyle. I achieved his complexion by using my own blend of many thin layers of Genesis Heat Set paints, which will never chip or fade, resulting in a timeless heirloom, to be passed on through the years. He has the most realistic and lifelike skin tones that I could possibly achieve, right from the delicate veining and mottling in all the right places, blue undertones where a baby would naturally have 'thin skin', to the tips of his little fingers and toes.No small detail has been over looked, no little crease or wrinkle has gone untouched, resulting in this gorgeous and 'so real' baby I have hand painted Kyle's hair layer upon layer, resulting in fine hair look round the sides and back, with a heavier mop at the top. I made sure to paint it in a natural hair growth pattern, giving him a little 'crown swirl'.I finally sealed the hair and textured it, giving it a slight 3D look. I think the painted hair suits Kyle and is also, very easy to care for. Baby's arms and legs have been weighted using micro glass granules, his head using poly-pellets sacks and jointed doe suede body using poly-pellet sack surrounded by faux fleece, resulting in a totally balanced little baby. I've not completely filled his little body with faux fleece, so that there's room for movement. His little head has been realistically weighted and will need a little supporting, just as a real baby's does.I NEVER use sand in any of my babies, so it's safe for them to travel anywhere I have not opened his nose, but shaded, tinted and sealed it, then backed with dark felt for more depth and realism. His little lips have been shaded using a few different tones, then sealed for a little sheen and durability.
