This is a frog complete, with screws (bolts) and washers for a Stanley Bailey No. 3 plane. It is in excellent shape void of any repairs or other problems. The japanning also is close to 95%. This came off a #3 that was manufactured between 1888 (the start of the 2 nd design of the 2 nd main shoe design) but was pre 1902 according to the frog print on the shoe. Lever cap, knob & tote, and shoe are also being listed.I will be removing the lever cap screw from this and I will tape it to the frog. This will allow it to ship in a small flat rate box and save shipping cost. I have tons of tools plus and vintage and non-vintage electronics and various antiques in my cellar and I need to clear it out. The pictures are an intricate part of the description so please examine them closely as I try to clearly show the uniqueness and imperfections of the piece.
