25 Issues of Frontier Times Magazine documenting Frontier History, Border Tragedy, and Pioneer Achievement primarily in Texas. Published by J. Marvin Hunter in Bandera, TX. Includes stories about Indian life, Cattle Trail life, Pioneer life, Train Robberies, and Western gangs and more. February to April 1926 issues contain the "real" story of Sam Bass and his Gang. All magazines are covered in the reprint blue cardstock Most have the owner's name stamped on the front. All are in poor to acceptable condition due to the aging of the fragile paper which is heavily tanned. Some issues have long tears on many pages. A few have loose covers and loose pages. Most covers are heavily worn with stains, tears, creases, and yellowing. But great reading for a Texas or pioneer history buff.See pictures for further details.
