Yea...you remember that COOL little amusement park in San Jose!! What a great place to visit and be a kid! In real life it's gone, but now you can bring back all the memories with this very cool 2 disc DVD set!

T are now TWO DVD DISCs!

T are FOUR shows on the original DVD : The main slideshow, a memorabilia slideshow, a home movie and commercial show, and a "unique image" slideshow. Main slideshow : This show has a total of 388 images for this show. Some color shots and some black and white. All are marketing images taken by various park photographers, or Joe Zukin, park founder. I've added sub-titles to many of the pictures so you'll know what you are looking at. T is an awesome original song written by Claire Mix called "The Village". It's a catchy tune about Frontier Village that will have you singing and tapping your feet!! The main slideshow is 46 minutes long. Memorabilia slideshow : I added 68 new pictures of my extensive Frontier Village memorabilia collection! Thats 140 images total. It's now a 14 minute show with more cool stuff to see! Home movie and TV commercial show : This show has my families 8mm Frontier Village home movie from 1968 and another from 1964. T are 4 TV commercials too. Thats 9 minutes of "moving" memories!! Unique Images slideshow : I've added some great shots to this show. 79 new images!! I even chartered a plane to fly me over the old Frontier Village site. This enabled me to do some very cool "Then and Now" aerial shots! I aquired some great new photos from Lauire Hollings estate and included them This show has some cool behind the scenes images too. Photos inside the Lost Dutchman Mine ride taken with a flash. Shots of a fire at the Hayes Estate prior to the start of construction. Many rare and never before seen shots around the park. This is now a 30 minute show with 214 different images. I also added some cool generic banjo music that makes watching it that much more enjoyable! Menu Screen : I've added a menu screen that displays when the disc is placed into you DVD player. You choose one of the four shows that you want to watch. Click play and the show begins. When the show is over it returns to the menu screen and you can then choose the next show you want to watch on the menu. Souvenir Park Map : Included with the DVD is a reprint of a Frontier Village park map. Just a nice item to look at and see the orientation of the rides, buildings, etc of the park. And I included the sheet music for the Frontier Village theme song. Got a piano or a guitar?? Play along!!!

This show is now 742 images, with more music, and 6 videos. That's 1 hour and 39 minutes of Frontier Village memories!!!!

The new second disc has 46 minutes of film, video, news, and TV commercials. I included a NEW original song about Frontier Village by local singing artist Jeff Larson. are some highlights of what is on the new disc :

T are 4 home 8mm movies (One film features a trip to the park approximately one week BEFORE the park opened to the public. It is a ghost town except for the family that was allowed in), t are several news clips, an auction announcement commercial, 4 other TV commercials, raw news footage of the Hanna Barbera characters helicopter arrival at the old San Jose city hall, plus others. All of these films/movies are from original film or from the master tape, not copied off of a website. Excellent quality for their age. T are a total of 13 "videos" on this new second disc.
