Fukagawa Arita or Imari porcelain vintage 50's - 60's, hand painted pieces, pattern #903, landscape features a winding mountain path to a pagoda in black & white with gold rims, made of fine Imari porcelain with gold trim, set of 8 cups & 8 triangular snack plates. This pattern was popular in the 20's & 30's, reintroduced in the 50's. This type of porcelain and pottery dates back to around the 15th Century and was a popular exported item to Europe in the 17th and 18th Centuries from Arita, Saga, Japan. All pieces are in fine condition, no cracks or chips. (See matching coffee pot, creamer & sugar bowl in separate listing).
