The Dimensions are 16 mm X 25 mm X 2.5mm Information about Fukang : Name: Fukang Classification: Stony Iron Pallasite Find/Fall: Found 2004 Description: The Fukang pallasite is a very unique and impressive meteorite that displays large gem quality olivine crystals within the nickel-iron matrix. Scientists believe that pallasites formed when the molten metal core of a planet mixed with the silicate magma. The olivine crystallized out of the silicate as it cooled and was then forced into the metal “mold” where the mass solidified.
