C-S 14021*, the asterisk indicating a "fundamental work" according to Clain-Stefanelli. 96 pages, black leattte covers (typical Whitman "Black Book" format of the period. Near Mint condition. It includes a brief introduction to the topic followed by a moderately illustrated complete listing by city and state of all the known Civil War storecard merchants, including a "most common variety" rarity scale. Nice alphabetical index in the back to save time looking up the mavericks. Superceded by the larger hardbound version published later, but this one should sell for a fraction of the price the hardbound book would realize Payment via PayPal please.
