THIS AUCTION IS FOR A FULL 6 MONTHS OF BOUND COPIES OF THE PHILADELPHIA PUBLIC LEDGER. THE DATES ARE FROM 9-23- 1853 THROUGH 3-23 1854. THE PUBLIC LEDGER WAS THE PHILADELPHIA NEWSPAPER THAT PRECEDED THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER. THIS IS AN AMAZING BOOK. THIS IS A FULL 6 MONTHS OF EVERY ONE OF THEIR NEWSPAPER PRINTED DURING THAT TIME FRAME. IT IS FASCINATING HISTORY. THE BOOK IS HUGE AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY PHOTOS. IT MEASURES 24 INCHES TALL AND 17 INCHES WIDE. THE BOOK IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO RIPS OR TEARS. T IS A SLIGHT AMOUNT OF RIPPLING TO THE PAGES. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL 5 PHOTOS.
