FULL SET SOVIET COMMUNIST GAS MASK BSS-MO-4U. Never used! This is a full set USSR model BSS-MO-4u gasmask that is in rarely perfect, never- used condition. This gasmask model was invented by USSR chemistry institute specialists, during the 1950s, and was widely employed in the socialist countries. At first the gasmasks were produced in the USSR, later on they started to manufacture them in Bulgaria, too. We assume the gasmask we are offering was produced about 1969 in a Bulgarian factory. It has never been used as it is evident from its unwrapped condition and talcum powder for preserving the rubber parts; in fact the white traces that are visible on the gasmask set are the result of the talcum. is what the set consists of:- a tarpaulin gas mask carrier with different compartments for the separate parts of the gasmask set; the shoulder strap can be adjusted, the waist belt can be placed in the side pocket of the bag. - the gasmask itself is of size 2 (M-L). We can also offer 4-XL size, too. The gasmask consists of two parts: a breathing BSS-MO-4U part and one intended for the face. The breathing compartment comprises a filter and a coal catalyst Ê-5Ó.
