OK, this is my much-admired and much loved Attack of the Cybermen -style Cybercontroller head - I've had this a long time and it's one of the prides of my collection, but that sad old cliche has come into play, Unemployment Forces Sale. This is a Cyberman from the Colin Baker 80s DOCTOR WHO story, and the big dome denotes that this is the leader of all the Cybermen - you saw these very seldom, this character was previously featured in a 60s Patrick Troughton story called Tomb of the Cybermen , where he looked considerably different (I've also got a Tomb -style Cybercontroller that I'm selling in a separate auction - I have included a couple of photos showing the two together - if anyone wants them both then please find my other auction - they look fantastic up on the shelf together). This Attack -style Cybercontroller is a really nice quality head, taken, I was assured when I got it, from an original head - I took photos of the same type of head at the Doctor Who Experience in Earl's Court last year and the two heads look virtually identical: the main difference is that the BBC version had a separate dome that was bolted on to the rest of the head, but this version has the dome moulded into the rest of the fibreglass head (see interior photos).
