Fully Functional Hand Forged Clay Tempered Peacock Katana
Amazing Tsunami Wave Hamon. Created by true Clay Tempering. This is a 100% hand forged clay tempered katana sword. This katana features full blood grooves on both sides of the blade, the purpose of this is to lighten the overall weight of the blade. This sword is great for tameshigiri and will also work excellent for those seeking a katana for training. Blade Type: Katana Length: 28.25 inches. Shinogi-zukuri style blade. Sori: Tori, meaning curvature is at center of blade. Mune: Ihori, meaning back edge of blade is two sided. Hamon: Tsunami Wave. Kissaki: Chu, meaning medium length tip. Mekugi-ana # of: Two. # of bamboo pegs securing handle to tang. Tsuka: 12 Inches. Length of handle. Period: 20th century. Tsuba: Metal. Shape: Round. Description: Peacock. Period: 20th century. Fuchi/Kashira: Metal. Period: 20th century. Menuki: One located on each side of Tsuka. Habaki: Copper. Seppas: Copper. Ito: Black. Same': Genuine White Ray Skin. Saya: Black Wood, & Lacquered. Comments: Hand Forged 1050 Carbon Steel, Clay tempered and water quenched. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase this weapon.
