offered is a very nice vintage 1940's bugs bunny all metal savings piggy bank. the bank was manufactured in the late 1940's by metal moss mfg company of chicago. bugs - a leading warner brothers animated star was part of a series of looney tunes merrie melodies cartoon characters made into still banks by metal moss. the hand painted bank measures 5-3/4" wide x 4" tall and is in excellent lite used condition with rich coloring. the photos are slightly dark and bugs looks better in person. the underside is missing key which is easy to replace. the bottom edge has some small flakes in enamel that slightly detract. overall - a fun novelty character bank for the best of collections. a wonderful item to collect or give as holiday gift. insurance optional-overseas first class airmail. ship to italy via registered or express mail only.
