We purchased it in Oxford, England. The Sideboard is made of Burl Walnut. The Burl Walnut Veneers have been laid out in an incredibly fine pattern. It makes a great deal of impact on the overall look of the design of the piece. The Sideboard has a rich, Medium Walnut Patina. This is an English Art Deco Sideboard. It is in very good condition. The Sideboard has a slight Gallery flowing across the back. It is consists of t Central Drawers flanked by Two Doors. The Drawers have a beautifully formed Curving Edge along the top. They open to reveal interiors perfect for storing serving utensils and fine silver settings. The Doors open to reveal roomy interiors fitted with Shelves for storing your fine China Settings. The unusual Front Legs of the Sideboard sweep across horizontally in a lush curve from one corner to the other. It is pure gorgeous Art Deco Design at its' finest. Straight Stretchers which are embellished with Reeded Carving connect the Front and Rear Legs. If you love the sleek, contemporary design of English Art Deco Furniture, you will find this very fine Sideboard irresistible! It would make an excellent Wine Cabinet in any room of your home.
