Funny - Cute Face Pottery Stoneware Coffee Mug. FUNNY FACE MUG IS SIGNED ON THE BOTTOM IN THE CLAY with what appears to be "AC" OR A "LC". THIS IS WELL MADE AND VERY CUTE WITH A NATURAL BROWN TONE OF CLAY USED ON THE FACE THAT IS POPPING OUT OF THE SIDE OF THE MUG, AS IF "BURSTING THROUGH" AND THE REMAINDER OF THE MUG AND THE DRINKING PORTION ARE GLAZED IN BEAUTIFUL BLUES AND EARTHY TONES. I can provide additional or close-up photos of this item to your email address upon request.This whimsical coffee mug is in good used condition NO chip, cracks, repairs or stains. It is approximately 3-1/8 inches tall and 2-3/4 inches in diameter at the mouth. It measures 4" across including the handle. This is a wonderful collectible funny face pottery mug! Whimsical coffee mugs such as this were very popular in the 1970s, particularly those made in California.
