At center is a shaft, with an infinite knot at each end. At the bottom is the triple-pointed blade, each side with a pair of twined serpents, which represents 'the severance of the 3 root poisons' of ignorance, greed, and aggression. The upper part is the part with the most design variation, and traditionally it is possible to determine which tribal sub-group made it by looking at this part. In this case we have a royal umbrella or Stupa top, which probably indicates the lama group.
