This is the perfect knife for carrying in your pocket. It is only 3.5" long folded. The blade is 3" long. At the hinge it has a polished brass bolster, and the stainless steel spine is outlined in brass. The blade is ,satin polished and has the David Crossbow and the word Laguiole stamped on one side. At the hinge is stamped G.David, France. Light weight and beautiful. It comes with Aurbac Cattle Horn handles. Note that the horn grains and colors will vary from side to side and knife to knife. Most of the handles are amber to brown with white markings. New and unused. I import (or preferably go pickup) directly from France. The knife was forget in the Midi-Pyrenees located in south central France. It is a mountainous remote area primarily populated by farmers, loggers, and craftsmen. I have included some pictures of the craftsmen at work in the G. David factory. Neat people!
