J G Folsom's Single Thread Family Sewing Machine, c.1860's, complete with instructions and original box. Instructions are apart from one or two words still readable despite all the heavy browning. Original box with split lid (see picture). Original pin to attach thread holder to machine not present (this is the small pin that holds the thread holder assembly to the main frame of the sewing machine), light corrosion to needle plate etc (I have not attempted to clean it). Paintwork bright and in very good condition. Measures approx. 10" to end of handle and approx. 6 1/2" high, overall VG. Overseas buyers, if they wish, can arrange their own shipping, parcel should be just under 5kg. If not cost for shipping provided once sold, but obviously will not be cheap.
