A sad piece of our history ... You are bidding on an unopened 2 oz. tin of G. L. Pease's Tribute . This tin was blend in 2001 immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Tins of this blend were only produced in very limited numbers during September and October of that year, both to honor those killed in the attacks and to raise funds for their families. As such, they are very rare and highly collectable! When is the last time you saw one for sale ? In addition to its rich historical context, "Tribute" is also an excellent, very enjoyable Virginia blend. This tin is in excellent unopened condition and has been stored is a cool, dark cabinet. It has an intact seal and is unopened. T are no dents or rust spots. As you can see from the photo, the graphics are clear and crisp. A fine smoke in a fine tin! Please note the important E-bay restrictions stipulating that the value of this item is in the collectible packaging, not in the tobacco itself. The tobacco within it is unopened but not for consumption. The collectible tobacco packaging is not available at any retail outlets and you must be 18 years of age to bid on this item.
