this wonderful C.G. Morehead limited edition print was found in a very nice home in Kentucky.ready to frame or display..Keenland Race Course1968 Plate VMorehead 65-8size border to border of actual print measures approx: 19 inches x 15 inchesone picture shows the print in a frame that i removed the print from. one corner of the frame was damage so i removed it from the frame.Note: only the print glued to the matting is on this sale.print is in perfect condition.. picture of print framed is for reference only.The Story of an Artist of Property: C. He was a real estate appraiser and, while on an assignment, he happened upon a farm in Hancock County, Kentucky. He was enjoying the beauty of the simple scene and decided he wanted to share it with others. He started his first oil painting, using the tools from the Christmas gift.Morehead developed his talent and concentrated on building portraits. His technique captured the exact details, showing every crack and personality of interesting buildings. His background with 21 years in real estate gave him an advantage when painting architectural structures. The building itself was the art and he paid less attention to the surroundings.
