Last year i inherited a huge collection of knives. i posted over 150 of them and every single transaction came back with sterling feedback. Well, i'm diving in again and will be presenting more selections from the collection. As I am not a collector, I really don't know what these go for- so all the knives start with ridiculously LOW OPENING bids. Very RARELY do i accept 'buy it now' offers as i prefer to let the market determine the worth of this collection. ALL THE KNIVES ARE BRAND NEW. They were purchased, put into the collection and NEVER USED. They still have the factory edge and some even still retain the factory preservative grease (which can make photographing them kind of difficult). HOWEVER- MOST DO NOT HAVE THE BOXES. They were purchased, dispalyed, and never used. Unless noted or photographed- assume that these knives do not come with the boxes. With that as an introduction- is what i'm posting for this auction... This knife is made by G. Sakai and designed by M. Takahashi (?). It is very similar to the other SPYDERCOs in the collection as it is made in Seki City and has Micarta scales of the handle pieces. It measures about 6 1/8 inches long, opened- and about 3.25 inches closed. The body of the knife, as previously noted is a high polished, tightly woven composite that i beleive is called micarta scales. The shape and dimensions make me think of the word stilleto- it is incredibly sharp and has a very precise blade. The blade is marked G. SAKAI and DESIGN by M. Takahashi. It is also stamped SEKI-JAPAN. (The 'Takahashi' is VERY small... so if i misspelled it- my apologies) If anyone would like to provide the post with more bits of info- or correct anything i've mentioned, i'll be happy to add it. If you'd like the larger format pics sent to you directly- pls ask. I'll be happy to oblige.Though unfamiliar with this particualy knife, this has all the hallmarks of a very fine piece. This is a very useable size and will make an excellent addition to any collection or provide generations of use. Please check my other auctions as i will be posting many more knives from the collection in the next couple of weeks. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, so bid early. To bid you must be at least 18 years of age as these are knives- and you are responsible for any legal issues regarding owning or shipping. If you've any questions- please ask. Need more detailed pics? just ask. If you are out of the USA- you must contact me for shipping quotes and eligibility. T are some places I WILL NOT SHIP TO. No negative feedbacks. Shipping domestically is $5.I am very proud of my feedback rating and thus, when you get them item and are happy with it- please leave good feedback and then i will do the same. any problems, i will (and have) bend over backwards to correct. Many thanks for looking- AND HAPPY BIDDING!
