Hello! You are bidding on a used (but very nicely kept) Gabriel Custom Cues prototype break cue. This cue was built as a design study by Gabriel Custom Cues of Fort Scott, Kansas. It was a prototype for a series of cues released in late 2007. The cue model is called the "Future Cannon" due to its' futuristic styling and design elements. The cue features a Brazilian Cherry grip, Maple forearm, and an African Ipe break shaft. The grip has several nice contemporary and innovative design features. T are four machined finger index grooves in the grip to allow you to index the cue in your hand so you break in exactly the same position every time. This feature allows a player to add consistency and repeatability to their break shot. The buttcap is machined from solid billet aluminum, and polished to a bright shine. A stainless allen-head machine screw holds the buttcap on the bottom of the cue, lending another nice touch to the overall futuristic look of the cue. The cue features a simple combination of black trim rings and tan phenolic rings between the woods and at the joint.
