This is a large... impressive... "Cameo" Glass... Vase... signed with the stylized "Galle" mark. It stands 11 and ¼ inches tall... almost 3 & 3/4 inches across the hand ground top rim... about 2 ½ inches across the once again hand ground bottom... and about 5 inches across at the widest spot in the middle. It appears to be in perfect condition.

The glass artisans have kept this stunning beauty simple... but at the same time shockingly attractive... with the use of just two glass colors. T is an underlying Frosty White... upon which varying shades of Cobalt Blue glass forms numerous Flowers... Stems... and Leaves. The Floral decoration completely embrace this stunning Vase. And the deep Cobalt Blue decorations over that Frosty Snowy White background leaves no doubt in your mind... that this is a piece demanding "attention"!!!...

Stout Cobalt Blue stems... adorned with deeply veined Leaves and Apple Blossom like Flowers... gracefully work their way up and around the senecious curves of this outstanding art glass Vase. This twisting mass of art-work completely encircle the Vase in a "floral embrace". The profusion of Flowers... Leaves and Stems... are silhouetted against that Frosty White "sky" background. With the exception of the Cobalt Blue "clouds" near the top rim... and the Cobalt Blue rolling "earth" that rings the bottom... the remainder of the art-work all stands out from the surface of the Vase... in a "Cameo" fashion. It appears as though the background had been carved away... leaving only the Flowers... with their Leaves and Stems... standing out on the surface of the Vase... enhancing the appearance... and inviting the viewer to touch the surface... and experience... in one more way... the grandeur of the piece of art glass.

The entire outer surface of this Vase has a "Matt" finish... sometimes referred to as "Frosted Glass"... or "Satin Glass" by collectors. This finish subdues light reflection... allowing the eye to appreciate the artistry at hand... and the "raised" floral decoration... invites the fingers to "stroll" across the surface... for yet another pleasant experience!!!...

With its graceful... sensuous design... and ever so bold glass colors... this beauty is not going to get "lost in the crowd"!!!...
