Rare primitive galvanized metal finger oil lamp with a Atwood and Plume "Riverside" burner. The lamp font appears to be factory produce to me from the metal workings. The top is crimped on to the oil reservoir. The finger hold was stamped along with the top then soldered to the base of the font. The fill cap base appears to be crimped to the top. The finger has a machine screw in it, could have been for a reflector or mounting for a wall bracket. The oil font measures 6 inches in diameter and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The burner is a Atwood and Plume "Riverside" model. The lamp does not have a chimney. The lamp intrigued me, however I could find no like lamp in all of the Internet sites I could find on oil lamps. This would be a great primitive to add to any lamp collection. I do my best to describe the items and any defects that it might have. I purchase items mostly from estate auctions. Shipping: I ship USPS Priority mail and use only new boxes when possible. INSURANCE IS OPTIONAL! I pack with extreme care but can not control the handling of the package by the post office.
