Here is a beautifully restored Gamewell POLICE Call Box Telephone from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company. This is NOT a replica Gamewell Police or Night Watchman Call Box. The Police Box is made of cast aluminum and steel. The Police Call Box and Telephone have a powder coated (baked on enamel) finish and are professionally hand lettered with "silver" color paint. Attached along side of the Police Call Box is a 1930-40's Western Electric Model 211 Telephone that has been converted for use on today's telephone system. The telephone handset is the older F1 style and is made of bakelite. The modern day telephone components are located inside of the police call box. A slang name for this style of Gamewell Call Box is the "flat top". A "VoIP" Voice Over Internet Protocol Telephone System such as available through Vontage or other Internet carriers will require a Converter not provided in this auction. This Gamewell Police Call Box Telephone will work fine with regular telephone services. This Gamewell "flat top" Police Call Box Telephone has a one year limited warranty from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company and has been professionally restored.
