Please check out my other auctions and feedback~~ I always have good items at low starting prices and low shipping! This is really nice antique silver plated souvenir spoon, made to commemorate the 1894 National Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic, the Union Army, from the Civil War, held in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The bowl has the Fort Pitt "Pittsburg" shield embossed in it, complete with the rifle's bayonet extending down into it. The handle is a detailed figural flintlock rifle, front and back, and has "28th National Encampment 1894 GAR". It is very large, about 5-7/8" long. No monograms or engraving. It is in very good condition, with a little wear to the finish, mostly on the back of the bowl. It looks very good. It is not tarnished and has a nice patina. No maker's marks of hallmarks of any kind. RETURN POLICY: If, for any reason, you are unhappy with an item you have won from me, I have a no-questions-asked full refund policy.
