Greetings! You are bidding on an UN-ISSUED WW II Garand bayonet. When I say âeoeun-issuedâe I MEAN IT! This bayonet never went to war! This particular piece is an American Fork & Hoe 1943. The condition of the piece is Excellent! Overall, the finish of this piece is astonishing! Absolutely no rust, pits and only a few scratches on the cross guard and muzzle ring from being moved around in storage on a metal shelf in an armory somew These scratches are clearly visible in the large pictures provided to you. If you need some close ups, I would be happy to e-mail them to you for your review. In addition, t is some very slight scabbard wear on the blade. No buggard stock screw and the stocks have no significant pits, dings or chips anyw! Only a few very light scratches on the stocks from 66 years of storage. The scabbard is NOT un-issued and is a typical USGI issue and appears to have been repainted. No cracks, splits or significant dings or rust. My military items are of high quality.
