For your consideration is a very beautiful Gold Record Award awarded to the alternative rock band, Garbage. The award is presented to Bob Catania to commemorate the sale of 500,000 albums on CD, and cassette of their 1995 smash debut album, Garbage. It includes the RIAA hologram and plaque, photo of the album art, CD, gold cassette and gold LP. This award is beautiful and striking to look at. The picture just doesn’t do it justice. The photo, plaque, hologram, cassette, CD and LP are all matted nicely under the glass. The album was certified gold on 05/01/1996, and this award is over 15 years old. Their singles, “Vow”, “Stupid Girl”, “Supervixen”, “Queer”, “Only Happy When It Rains”, and “Milk” blew up the charts in the 90’s and this album went on quickly reaching gold and then platinum, then double platinum status. They also received several Grammy nods for this album as well. The size is approx 17” X 21”. This is perfect for any fan or collector! Safe shipping includes insurance and tracking.
