This is a vintage 1940's article and not a reproduction 1940's figural metal gas pump lighter (looks like chrome or plated..does not take magnet). Stamped MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN on bottom. I placed a Bennington marble in the logo ring on top for illustration purpose (marble not included in auction) . Any gasoline company logo can be inserted. Push the pump handle lever on the side and the top pops open. Clear flint chamber with new flint, sparks fine! Will require lighter fluid. Pump case has wire mesh on both sides for air flow. Knurled head machine screw on either side probably helps hold and stabilize interior lighter chamber.. but when removed, wadding is visible, so it perhaps fluid can be added at these locations.. as well as the main access on bottom. Made well. Appears to have had little use. Very nice condition mechanically and physically. No rust or oxidation. 3 1/2" tall......2 3/8" diameter base Great collectable! shipped Priority mail. N o Paypal accepted. Will accept personal check or money order.
