This auction is for a great 18" vintage green porcelain enamel gas station barn light. It has been completely rewired and has a new socket. It has its original fitter. A galvanized threaded heavy duty 1/2" rigid steel pipe gooseneck has been added. This light measures 28" from the front of the shade to the mounting plate. It measures 21" high and 19" from the front of the curve on the gooseneck to the mounting plate. This light has been tested and works great. It will take any standard bulb. I use threaded heavy duty steel fittings, just as original gooseneck lights were made. My lights do not have e.m.t. pipe (also known as conduit or thin wall conduit) or compression fittings, like some others being sold on ebay. Those are not as durable and don't hold up as well as threaded rigid steel. This light has normal wear for its age. It has some light chipping and rust spots around the rim, except in one area where there is a large chip and dent in the rim. The outside of the shade has a few very light scuffs. There is a large chip around the neck of the shade on the outside and some smaller chips at the bottom of the neck. The inside of the shade has a large chip that corresponds with the dent on the rim, a smaller chip and some chipping near the socket. If you are looking for a great vintage light with some character, this is the light
