I deal in alot of flapper , 1920 and Gatsby era dresses, and I HAVE to tell you, this dress is one of the more unusual and feminine that I have seen! This authentic 1920's dress is most definetely for evening, and is entirely covered in clear slightly peachy ecru RAINBOW irrendcent SEQUINS, and I mean around 10,000 were used, perhaps more. Trimming sequin over tunic, are tiny clear crystal beads - at the arms, around the neckline, down the sides and at the bottom. So, count a few 1,00 of those as well! The over dress is made up of a fine ecru net, with the sewiuns applied in lines and circles that are OBVIOUSLY DECO in style. This is open from under the arm to the bottom, with two beads used at 10" intervals to attach the front and back together at the side. The under dress or slip, is of a deep peach color, and changes the coloration of the sequins to an irredescent dreamy peach, with ecru overtones. At the bottom of the tunic, a delicate pale peach color net ruffle at attached. The right hip has a slight gather for extra drama (Like this dress needs it!) The overtunic is amazingly enough NEAR MINT! With at LEAST 98% of the sequin and beads present! and no rips, holes or staining. This one is VERY sparkly, and hard to photograph well. It measures: Bust to 44", waist to 42" hips to 44", and is 52" in length (model is 5'11", 34/26/34). I purchased this size unknown, and its a FANTASTIC wearable size! The underdress does have underarm stains, but you can perhaps soak these out, or bring it in - As this is attached lightly, you could even replace it EASILY with another slip. STRONG and ready for dancing! GORGEOUS and UNIQUE I love this one! All sales are final, so ENJOY!
