This auction is for 68 plastic O gauge electric lamp posts as shown in the photos. Please select "supersized" images for better detail. All or most of these lamp posts are used from a massive O gauge layout that was dismantled after a short period of use. I am not sure which company made these lights, as I am not the original owner. T are 3 different versions in this group - most are Product #2601 "Lighted Lamp Post" (Qty=49) that has a dark green post with a clear lense/shade. Most of these lamp posts in the styrofoam tray appear to be unused. T are also two other versions of a similar lamp post in the lot ( Qty=17 ). Both of these versions have a frosted lense/shade and slightly smaller diameter posts than the dark green lamp posts. Fourteen (14) of the frosted lense version have a lighter green post, while three (3) have a dark green post. Also, these lamp posts use a different screw-in type bulb. The lamp posts are nicely detailed and they are approximately 4.25 inches high and they are designed to operate from standard 12-14 V AC. They would be useful for any scene on a layout or diorama and the quantity would allow for a large area to be lit. Every lamp post in this lot was tested and all function properly. Some needed to have the light bulb pushed into the socket firmly, and you may also need to do this after shipment. A few of the lamp post bases still have glue residue that may need to be cleaned off before use (the bottom of the base) . Some of the lead wires were cut shorter than others when removed from the layout but all shown appear usable as is. T are five (5) additional lamp posts that are incomplete or have very short leads included for use as parts (last photo in the group). These "extra" incomplete lamp posts are not included in the quantities listed above. Also, a few of the light green lamp post bases were noted to have some heat damage from a hot glue gun...the damaged sides could be turned away from view, or positioned w not visible. No damage was noted to any of the dark green lamp posts. Also included with this lot are 45 house or building (interior) lamps. These were also used on the layout but many have very short wire leads and these were not tested, but I suspect that most are functional. The light bulbs appear to be a mixture of clear and amber color. The wire is very small diameter and the bulbs are screw-in style but the sockets are loose in many of the plastic bases (could be glued, or the sockets will set in when light base is placed into position on table). No guarantee on these lamps but they are being thrown into this lot as a bonus that may be of use. The photos of the lamp posts lighted are taken in the evening after the sun had set... these are bright! T are many spare replacement bulbs included with this lot (not shown in photos). Be sure to check my other listings for more O scale lamp posts, figures, and scenery items. These will be packed carefully for safe shipment and will include delivery confirmation. Note that t are multiple shipping options...depending on your location priority mail service may be the same price as parcel post...both options are available (as well as UPS).
