A scarce large ( approx 290 x 130mm) cover franked at a 2.6.8d rate made up of 3 x 10'- and 3 x 5/- Bradbury Seahorses and 2 x 10d deep turquoise blue stamps. Cancelled 'London / Airmail' dated 19 DEC 30. From Agar, Cross & Co to their office in Buenos Aires. These were general merchants with extensive operations in South America. It was flown via Toulouse ( 21 12 30 Transit over) arriving in BA on 4 JA 31. I have shown close ups of the stamps in separate scans - there are slight perf shortages on the left of the lower 10/- value ( and some top part of the stamp that was below it on the sheet) and a fold on the first 5/- value. Given its size it is not unusual that the cover itself has commercial wear and tear in the corners etc but overall is a sound example of its type.
