Description:
The deck is cosmetically, in visually, well used condition. It has seen a lot of play time and has acquired some scuffs, paint, and fading.

The right side of the unit w the plastic fits together has some warping, like it got to

close to a heat source, but that absolutely in no way affected the fabulous playback of this amazing high quality vintage music system!

It has an AM/FM radio that picks up stations easily with its thick quality antenna which collapses and pushes down into itself

completely for total protection. {it does have a slight bend}

This GE Portable Unit has a great 8 Track player, which I cleaned then tested with a Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers tape,

and it plays as smooth as ever with an even speed and all 4 tracks worked properly! {Lights and all}

On the top is the volume knob as well as a bass/treble knob. I set the bass and treble just right and the sound quality blew me away,

it has a nice depth, with no static or weakness in the speaker

It does not get super loud like the 80s boom boxes, but it is loud enough

and really enjoyable with its clear classic audio playback you will remember from other music systems created in the 70's.

While chilling to your favorite tunes you also have the option of plugging in a Mic to sing along or use a set of earphones for private listening.

No Junk folks; which I was quite happy about that due to its age and visual condition.

It has an adjustable heavy shoulder strap for carrying it around which is made from the same material used for military baggage handles.

The unit itself is a military green with a black front speaker area.

Made in Hong Kong, back in the day, you will have yourself a great General Electric Music System you can count on.
I will give this a decent cleaning before shipping.
