This auction is for an electric General Electric / Telechron mantel clock. With the research I have done I think it was made in 1931 and is a model 558 "Geneva". There is an info plate on the back door but it does not seem to have a number stamped into the "model" box. The information that can be read on the info plate is: - Telechron Electric Clock - volts 120-125 CYC. 60 W.2 - Motor Mod. M-1 Ser. 463853A - and a bunch of unreadable patent numbers. Tested and it does run and keep time. The cord that comes with the clock is shot and will need to be repaired or replaced. The female bakelite cord end is fine and can be reused but the male end is broken and the cord has a break in it. Buy this clock for what you see in the pics, I will not guarantee it is a 558 Geneva because of missing info on the back plate.
