Antique Gebruder Heubach Handpainted Porcelain Vase - LichtenThuringia, Germany, 1840-1925. "Pomona" pattern of BEAUTIFUL Autumn colors - Front: Red/Orange/Yellow fruit (Pomegranites?) spilling out of a basket, Green leaves; Back has 3 Red/Orange/Yellow Cherries on stems; semi-glossy glaze. The background is a wash of Green/Yellow/Brown melded into each other - ALL the colors on this vase are very stunning!! 8 3/4" High X 3 1/2" opening at top. Bottom is VERY well signed/marked: Gebruder Heubach "Sunburst" mark printed in Green - "Hand painted" written in script below - a diamond at the top w/"DEP." inside; there is also an impressed "Sunburst" design; a double circle w/ MADE IN GERMANY" inside; "POMONA" printed in Green; 3 Green 'hash' marks; 4 numbers impressed "?53?"; and in red/orange "2 4" OR "H 2" not sure what this is, but probably artist's marks. The vase is in excellent condition and looks wonderful with Majolica, Porcelains, or standing alone - NO chips/hairlines/cracks. Please do not pay until an invoice ahs been sent. Any glare/white spots are from my camera. Please email with any questions and thanks for looking!
