This auction is for a gem US $5 gold coin. American eagle. I have not seen one of these in a US mint booklet with a clear cointain protecting the coin. The gold piece appears as a full mint lustrous gem. Most I have seen in coin shops are in a pile and you can pick one that you like. This is a 1992 and the mint packaging contains much information on the eagles authorized in 1985. The special mint holder must add even more to the value. I will start this gold below any I see selling now on ebay. I am a medal collector/dealer and know little about these pieces other than the price of gold will always be there and it went up today. Good luck. USPS rates went up in Jan and my quote includes the ins. that ebay wants and any amt. above the cost will be paid by me.
