***** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ***** Product Info Gemini Jets Item No. GJCDN070 Aircraft Registration No. C-FCRA CP Air (Canadian Pacific Air Lines/Canadian Airlines International/Air Canada) Boeing 747-217B "Empress of Asia" Gorgeous [well, if you like orange like we do :) ], limited issue, 1:400 scale, diecast model put out by Gemini Jets over 12 years ago (2,500 total pieces world-wide). Both box and model in excellent condition, and have been stored in a cool, dark, dry place. Only shortfall is age-related discolouration in the plastic packaging cradle (normal), and a small piece of plastic missing in a corner of the inner half thereof (we originally acquired item in that condition). CP Air took delivery of four 747-217Bs between November 1973 and December 1974. They operated primarily on long haul services to Amsterdam, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Sydney. However, in October 1985, CP announced that the four were being sold to Pakistan International Airlines, and in return, CP would acquire PIA's four DC-10-30s, which later sported the Canadian Airlines International livery (a merger comprising Pacific Western Airlines, CP Air and Wardair).
