Excellent, UNUSED set from 1954-1955, Gene Autry . This truly is a rare find, especially in unused condition. This set includes the booklit originally sold with the lunchbox as well as the original cardboard that protects the wire thermos holder. In the pictures you can see another piece of corrugated cardboard around the thermos. It was originally sold wrapped around the thermos to protect the inside panels of the lunchbox. The lunchbox, although unused, does have shelfwear but very little. The handle is peeling a bit and the hardware has some surface rust. I took a picture of the damage that is most noticeable. It is on the top panel and continues through the top of the back panel. The back panel has one spot that is discolored, please see the picture. T are a few areas w t is some webbing but it is so light, it's hard to photograph. Take a look at the thermos, it is also in excellent, unused condition. T is a flat area on the front from top to bottom but it seems intentional. The seam, the glass canister, the rubber stopper, the red top and the piece that goes under the canister are all in perfect condition. Also included is a piece of brown paper that I assume protected the top. The inside of the lunchbox has a few little red spots, photographed, probably from the top of the thermos, w it rested.
