Any collector will love this ORIGINAL 1937 drawing by Gene Byrnes for the Reg'lar Fellers Comic strip, which took a humorous look at suburban New York kids during the depression. The characters in Reg'lar Fellers appeared in 1917 in a strip called It's a Great Life if You Don't Weaken . In 1919 the strip became Wide Awake Willie in the New York Herald. It began as a daily strip in 1920 and ran through 1949. It was syndicated through Bell. This strip, features Jimmy Dugan, his friend, Puddinhead Duffy and Puddinhead's brother, Pinhead at a swimming hole. It is in great condition and would make a great addition to anyone's comic collection.
