GENE - MONACO is a 1995 Ashton Drake release of doll artist Mel Odom's movie star heroine in a wedding gown ensemble that evokes Princess Grace Kelly. All original, the dark haired Barbie type Fashion Doll with bubble cut hair style wears a bridal gown of lace and tulle that has a sweetheart neckline, Peter Pan collar, cuff sleeves and bow at the waist. Hand applied satin roses grace the hem of the full skirt. The striking headpiece is edged with faux pearls. Accessories include matching pearl ear rings and necklace, hose, undies, heels and bouquet. The Limited Edition 15 inch doll, removed from box briefly for display under glass, comes with fashion booklet, original box and shipper, and Certificate of Authenticity (#C13419). Shipping is $10.00, which includes Tracking and Postal Insurance. Offered from the estate of a local antiques & toy collector who was a U.F.D.C. Doll Club member for many, many years. These vintage dolls were purchased over a number of years from original owners, private collectors, auctions, doll shows, retail outlets, and estate sales. There are many to be listed.
